Read your Injury Scan

See how your bowling action loads your back.

  1. 1

    Filmed from behind

One delivery from directly behind, phone upright. The scan reads three moments of your action.

  2. 2

    Back-foot landing

The angle of your knee as you land, and whether you drive mainly from your knee, your hips, or both.

Back-foot landing: knee angle 29 degrees, knee dominant
  3. 3

    Front-foot landing

Your pelvis angle, and whether your front foot lands in line.

Front-foot landing: pelvis angle 15 degrees, alignment good
  4. 4

    Side bend at release

How far your trunk bends sideways as you let the ball go. More side bend puts more load on your lower back.

Side bend at release: 32 degrees, low risk
  5. 5

    Your risk profile

Everything combined into one score and a profile: low, moderate or high.

Low risk profile, risk score 32
  6. 6

    Scan again to track it

Re-scan at your final check, or sooner after a change to your action, and compare.

The Injury Scan is a screening tool, not a medical diagnosis. If something hurts, see a physio.
